He is in Canada. The Mini is in Canada. No importation involved. It is moving from one province (Alberta) to another (Prince Edward Island, which is about the same distance as going from Oregon to Maine. The shipment will remain entirely in Canada for the while trip, which is about 4,604.8 km, give or take a few stops at Tim Horton's along the way.

Excellent news!
When Mike in New Brunswick (ve9aa) bought his Mini in the UK, he posted the shipping information and website and we all had a chance to follow it visually across the ocean. If I recall correctly, the ship didn't go directly to Halifax (or was it Saint John) but went further south and doubled back.
Keep us posted on its progress.

Enclosed is the only way to go this time of year
If the mini is coming in a semi trailer and if the driver does not have ramps you will need a roll off truck or a loading dock to get her down, done both

Hi all. I got worded from Braden Huffen, the vender of my Mini and the fellow who is trying to get set up with minis as his “specialty “. Parts too, but he’s not ready for the parts setup yet. To get to the point, my car was loaded today ( weather was treacherous out thera the last 3 days so they had to delay loading ) ! It is due here March 3. Two weeks from tomorrow . After all this waiting, it had better be here on the 3rd or earlier. I expect it to be on time, but will be tracking it . All-in - all , a great day. One nice thing came out of this ( one of the nice things had better be a darn good mini ), the other good thing is that only about 1 1/2 months ( roughly ) after my Mini is delivered , the salt should be washed off of the blacktop. I’ll be counting the days and watching the tracking of my mini. One final note...the vendor has paid the extra money to deliver my Mini via enclosed transport as a good gesture decause I was waiting so long... Cheers all, Darren.
