Relatively short story here, depending on whose side you want to take. The seller was unhappy with the outcome of this auction and refused to sell it to us at that price. Months ago we had attempted to purchase this same truck as a restoration candidate for a client of ours, for 16k. That client backed out of the sale/commissioned restoration, and the deal fell through. Fast forward the better part of a year. After we won this "No reserve" auction for 12k, the seller refused the sale, and demanded our previously negotiated price of 16, claiming that if it had sold to anybody else it would be fine, but because we had the winning bid he felt shafted. So, us not paying over the auction price translated to our honesty and integrity not living up to his standards. 

Where's that comment? All I see is that it sold for $12K. Which is a pretty good deal. Looks like Gildred bought it. I'm sure you'll see it on their site for sale with an inflated asking price
