According to their website, British Motor Industry Heritage Trust (BMIHT) only offers Heritage Certificates for Mini's 1959-1969.

It seems you are already doing what BonnieVogel suggests.

The "manufacturer" no longer exists. Who knows where the build records ended up.
You could apply for a Heritage Certificate which might give results.
You can narrow it down by checking for date stamps on the boot latch and wiper motor, assuming they have not been changed in almost 30 years.

Hy there i can see your post and i must say

To get more specific information about when your Mayfair was built, including its exact production date, you might want to reach out to the manufacturer or a MINI enthusiast community. They might have access to more detailed production records and historical data.

Since my information only goes up until September 2021, I recommend checking with relevant MINI or classic car forums, contacting MINI customer support, or consulting specialized MINI clubs and organizations. They might be able to provide you with more accurate information about your Mayfair's production date based on its VIN.
Thanks and regards
BonnieVogel

Greetings all!
New owner here of a 1994(?) mayfair, hence the purpose of this post. I have used the VIN decoder and have managed to come up with the following info. 1300 Mayfair RHD Auto, 9:4:1 ratio built in longbridge. Oh and SPI as it was imported from Japan to the states. Trying to see if someone out there might have some insight as to when it was built. Last 5 digits of VIN are 67575. Cheers.
