On Facebook there is a group called "Classic Mini Parts Trader USA. There is a min from Japan that has AC that is in Texas for sale.
"How can anything bigger be mini?"

I'm seeing a lot of apparently nice Minis for sale, here and on other sites, with air conditioning. Since I live in north Texas, I kinda like AC, but parts searches here and on minispares.uk only show a relay available... Most of the AC cars are imported from Japan, and the underhood pics show a very unique condenser. I'm presuming the evaporator and expansion valve and possibly the compressor are unique to the Mini, so, my question:
For those who own an air conditioned Mini, is the system reliable, and; do you have a parts source?
