I know I'm a little late, and I hope you've already figured it out, but watch for the markings, as the halves are paired and the hinges belong in specific locations.

Installed from top to bottom with the serrated end being on the top.

Installing new door hinge pins, how are they installed from the bottom up or down? And which way around smooth or knotched end?
