Yes, feels good moving Minis again. First one post-surgery was completing a Cooper S delivery that I contracted to move to San Diego port in November 2019 but the shipping lines changed the sailing date until December. Well, having surgery and being in the hospital 3 months delayed that. The car sat on my trailer in the driveway for 7 months awaiting me to get better. At this point I have to say that Michael in Hawaii was the most understanding and patient customer I've ever dealt with. My son and I finally got it to the port in May. While out in California I picked up a Mini for an old friend and former customer that is ultimately going to Long Island when the virus lightens up enough for me to get in there. But once again, the customer is patient. Last week I hauled a Mini from Cleveland TN to Wisconsin for a car dealer. Yesterday he CA)ed and wants me to take a Cappuccino to Minnesota. Well, looks like this week I'll be on the road again. Anyone have something I can put on my empty trailer for the return trip? Life is better if I can avoid towing an empty trailer. BTW, Big Al was correct...no longer drinking Dr Pepper. After my surgery it just didn't taste good anymore. Sorry they had to lay off the 3rd shift at the Dr Pepper plant, but I hear they've increased the staff that bottles Lipton Unleaded Peach Tea (my new drink).
