Unless these are non-running sheds/parts cars, I'm gob-smacked.

Dinner discussion started simply -"The Midget has gotta go"

"OK Honey, I know I know , Its a classic and not resourceful to the family, Ill put it up for sale and see if it goes anywhere.

Fulfilled the quest.

?? Ask Howie how you can put it on the Spridget list. There should be a number of folks that would surveil your dumpster to save you the haul away charge.

The rear end and the disc brakes of the late sprite are kind of cool, but there isn't much market for these cars, but maybe we just are not paying attention to the higher end...

It's hard to figure, I have a side curtian Sprite and a 77 or later Midget and both were given to me. They are stored inside and I'm thinking of throwing them away to make room for more minis. I have tried to sell and no luck. Have clean title for one but not the sprite. Steve (CTR)

The street lies!

My tuppence - If it had a complete Miata drive train (and there is a nicely-done one around here) that's still a looooong way to go for a square-nose, even with the radiused wheel openings. ...and that's from a former MK III owner.

nice car, but $25k for a late model Midget would be tough in my opinion. They simply aren't worth much. I have a '66 Sprite, and although I love the car, I realize that at best, I am going to get back no more than the money I have spent on it in parts.

Guys, guys, it isn't a contest.  There is bad in every picture, so pulling as much bad out as you can is only going to give you a hernia.  Just buy two brand new Fiats with your $25 000

Also, word on the street is that Zippy the Pinhead is selling his moke to buy this car.

There's a few little detail things that annoy me on that car more than someone casually folding the top down for pictures. Like the paint following the rocker panel instead of staying under the trim. No hood buffers. Odd carpet in the trunk. Paint showing on trans tunnel between carpet pieces. What appears to be black electrical tape holding the heater duct on. I'll forgive the duct itself for appearing to be dryer ducting, as it could be the camera or the lighting playing tricks.

I've got a '79 Midget and never gave it a thought to value it anywhere near that amount. Maybe I should get an appraisal and revisit the idea of selling it. Or insuring it for more.

I even have a new tach on a shelf for it. The one in it does work, though. Can never have too many spares.

That is a pretty car.  Round rear arch are the better looking cars IMO.  I have a 73...would love to get it driving.
Runs like a charm.....now if only I could engage a gear!

The way the owner folded that roof down is a good way to ruin a nice top. For $25k you would think the wipers would park.

is that your car? my neighbor is selling the midget i sold him some years back that i had originally built for my wife. he would let it go for $3500 and it needs repair of the shifter on the rivergate 5 speed i put into it. it would put this one to shame, 1971, i was the third owner, 36,000 original miles. completely restored from ground up, never was rusted out, no welding ever done to it. fiberglass front fenders and bonnet. built 1275. 5 speed, full custom interior in biscuit with miata leather seats (speakers in headrests), real panasport wheels, converted to 1969 larger chrome bumpers, shock conversion all round, poly bushing at front end, header, ansa exhaust, painted MG color Tundra, newer top. most likely other thing i have forgotten. he also has a very nice 1977 rubber bumper midget for sale as well.
