What ve9aa is trying to say is that you've hit on a 19 year old thread.

If you are looking for a particular part, better to start a new thread asking if anyone has one.

Hello Mike, I hope I have attracted your attention by quoting your own phrase on Mini Mania web site for a “Light switch” on the Classic Mini?

I was wondering if you still have the complete unit or maybe even just the stalks on this switch?

Thanks if you can reply.

I too need the turn signal switch you were looking for.  Spank had the exact photo of the part I need.  The plastic that holds the lever has broken apart.

Were you able to locate a source? Did you purchase the one that was shown in the pictures by Spank?

Hello Everyone!

I recently bought an 1974 Innocenti Mini 1001. Very happy with it!

I am in need of the same part as CalicoGal "AXE 273 Switch - direction indocator". Can anyone tell me a source where I could find one? I've been looking for it for days now, but can't seem to find it.

Also an "AXE 144 Push - horn" and an "AXE 473 Cable Speedometer (Jaeger)" unit are in need of replacement.

If anyone can help with parts that would be awesome. Even if anyone can help with a name of a supplier or a webpage where I can buy these parts, that would be perfect.

Thanks in advance!

I do not have the flasher, but do have the signal switches that mount on the steering column.

The most common problem people have is the plastic base of the switches becomes brittle and cracks resulting in the arms falling loose / hanging loose. When I found this new one I snapped it up, but I don't have an Innocenti anymore.

Willie B here on 'the board' may be able to help as well. He gathered up a bunch of Inno parts a while back.

Before buying, try this. rock the hazard switch on and off about 20 times. then try the indicators. Repeat  an keep repeating the procdure until the turn indicators come on.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Does this assembly contain both bits I mentioned, and how much is it?

Thanks!

Hello,

I have a 1974 Inno 1300 Export and I need help finding some parts that have to do with my turn signals, which are not working.

One is called an "AXE 273 / Switch - direction indicator" in the manual and is the entire assembly that goes on the steering column.

The other part is a relay that controls the flashing of both the hazards and the turn signals - I can't seem to locate even a part
number for it.  It looks like a tiny black box with six spade connectors sticking out and is located under the dash directly above
where the steering column go into the body of the car.

Any suggestions?

I thank you so much.
