Hey Steve. Thank you for your prior service as well. I can assure you that I will look into this shop being that I'm so exited to start transforming this mini. Just checked out the website and the past projects, they look great. Thanks for the info, and you will most likely hear from me once I to the states.

One of the best restoration shops on the east coast is run by Cosimo Ferrante. His shop is called Mad House Minis and is located in Mass. //madhouseminis.com/ One of the locals in Capitol Mini Owners, Herman (Pologround) has taken at least a couple of his Minis up there for restoration. Cosimo sure does quality work and has good rates too.

Matthew, My name is Steve Gibbs and I own Cooper Tune. I have a 3700 sq. ft. classic mini resto and race shop in Hampton VA. I'm a retired auto machinist and bought my first mini in 1968. I have been involved in SCCA solo2, vintage racing as well as building show quality minis. I'm very lucky to have direct connections with the local auto machine shop, powder coater, stitch shop, a couple of job machine shops and a pair of auto body shops. We are now able to handle anything in house. I'm also close with the guys who do pro stock drag and circle track roll cages. I'd be glad to share pictures of current or past projects and can put you in touch with my customer list. Being a veteran I respect your service and offer a discout on shop labor to our service guys and gals. Join us at www.coopertune.com Regards
Steve

Hey everyone,
I'm well aware of all the awesome west-coast classic mini specialists, but I was wondering, are there any east coast shops. Im getting stationed in Maryland relocating from Germany and looking to have my mkIII completly made over (full body paint, uphostry, engine bay clean up, suspension) the works... Are there any good names on the East? Thank you very much!
