If you're tired of the mess created when changing the oil on an A-Series engine with the older paper filter canister - replace it! All A-Series blocks can be converted to accept modern spin on oil filters. Regardless of displacement (848cc, 948cc, 970cc, 997cc, 998cc, 1071cc, 1098cc, 1275cc) you can ditch the older canisters and replace them with a good, used spin on head and pipe that was used on Minis from the late 1970's forward. This kit contains the head and factory pipe, banjo bolt and copper washers, gasket for head to block, and two new flanged head bolts to secure the head. It also comes with a Mahle spin on filter. This kit is plug and play - it's ready to go!

Note: If your older canister system had a low oil pressure switch connected, that circuit is no longer used. These heads have a ball bearing bypass valve that eliminates the need for that warning system.
