Question:
I just wanted to verify a part will fit my car. I have a 1973 Clubman Estate with the 11100cc. I need a new timing chain kit and was wondering if part number C-AJJ3323 would be correct for the car. Also, all of the timing cover gaskets on the site seem to be the same but is there a specific one that I should buy?
Answer:
Yes, this will work in your application (it's not stock, but better) uses the GUG705803GM gasket that is genuine and we keep it in stock.

Question:
When using the Klingersil timing cover gasket, should RTV be used if so which side should it be applied?
Answer:
Good questions.

I do not use RTV.

FOLLOW UP QUESTION:  Thanks.  So you install dry? Secondly I accidentally installed the crankshaft lock washer 12A398 on the camshaft it fit just fine, do you think that is going to be an issue down the road. Thanks for all the guidance.

FOLLOW UP ANSWER:  Most likely not, as long as the nut was good and tight.

Good luck.  Sounds you're doing a great job.
