Sturdy mounts
To ensure both easy installation and a sturdy mounting platform for the lights, Cravenspeed has designed a two piece bracket that clamps to the v-brace behind the grill. The main part of the bracket is laser cut from stainless steel while the clamping side is machined from aluminum. Both parts are powder coated black and stainless hardware is used to eliminate the possibility of corrosion. The brackets are fabricated right here in Oregon, and are sold separately if you've got lights of your own.

It indicates these are "plug and play" installation. Do these lights function with the existing "high beam" switch? Can these function with a separate switch?
Answer:
Driving lights are typically wired to activate with the high beams as it is with this kit.
However, if you have some basic 12v electrical knowledge you can add a relay and a switch and wire the source so it can be switched on separate from the high beam. When the switch becomes active depends on where you tap the power, whether it's switched to the ignition or to the lights circuit.
