We have booked a hotel room! Currently, I am cleaning out my attic and organizing things to bring to the swap meet. Bringing numerous MK1 Mini components as well as Innocenti components, Riley Elf components, rare alloy wheels, scale Mini models, and Cooper S steel wheels.  

It was announced during this year's MME banquet that a Mini "gathering" of some nature will be will be held in western KY. some time in July or August of 2023.

Any idea where Mini Meet East will be held in 2023?

Alex, "The rest of the story" involves one each, Dr Mini, my kid, and a shorty Moke that wasn't well planned. Although the Mayfair may have been grotty, my kid wanted it. As for the Moke, someone shortened it by removing the rear third of the pontoons. Results are no room for the petrol tank on the left and the large opening for the battery box is gone, so the smaller opening of the middle box had to be massaged. Luckily I found the Moke at a bargain price, cheaper than even a grotty Mayfair would cost. BTW, what's your thoughts on bungee-cords holding the petrol tank on the rear bumper? I guess the + is that it had an original petrol tank. Just like the Mayfair though, with a little bit of sheet metal, a welder, and some love, even the shorty Moke might make a decent vehicle!

Included in your Mini Meet registration is a trip to the British Transportation Museum! The BTM is the site for the panoramic photo, inside the museum they have an extensive collection of past panoramic photos on display. Also, you will find D*** Smith's original Cooper S, Hrach's Yellow Van, Brian & Joyce Owen's Mini Moke and Big Al's Mini Mover. And, three or four more Mini's in various stages. 

I'm definitely going there ??  

I will drink one to the Late Big Al Guest..  he got me going to MME in 1997.. just too far me for day trip and back..

We think everyone has a story to tell and thought that Lynn is one of the top storytelling people we know! There is time in the evenings that is set aside for sharing the tales from the past and recent... I'm really looking forward to this!

Also, the MME event has sponsored John Twist who will be out in the parking lot on Saturday tuning SU carbs. Look him up on YouTube under John Twist or University Motors.
And, the MME event also has Mark Guyton who does the Paintless Dent Removal. He will also be out on Saturday to work out the small dents and dings out for around $25. It's amazing what they can do and he comes highly recommended.

Jim booked a room and registered us yesterday - I've now got almost unlimited storage space, so your wheel collection may get plundered !
