Hello,

My name is Rodney Camps. I am the new owner at Classic Mini Coopers of Miami (formerly Mini Coopers of Miami). I met Sergio over a year ago when I took my Mini to him. The shop made a great impression in my mind that when Sergio decided to retire I had to jump on it. There are not many people that have the knowledge that Sergio, Max, and Juan regarding Minis. So the shop will continue and we will be here for the Mini community for any years to come. Visit classicminicoopersofmiami.com. Thanks to Sergio for beleiving in me and what I can bring to this community.

It's good to see that Sergio will join us retired guys and that the Company will stay on.  It is PRICELESS to be able to drive there, get parts and valuable information from Sergio, plus it's fun to see 3-4 Minis being worked on!

HI BIG AL
PLEASE MAKE A CORRECTION THE IDEA THAT I WILL RETIRING DOESN'T MEAN I'M GOING OUT OF BUSINESS OR THE BUSINESS IS GOING A BE CLOSED. ON THE CONTARY THERE IS A NEW OWNER AND WILL CONTINUE WITH THE LAGACY OF SUPPLING CLASSIC MINI PARTS TO ANYONE. IT WILL BE STRONGER AND WILL KEEP THE SAME LOCATION AND ATTENTION TO EVERYBODY INCLUDING THE EXPORT MARKET THAT IS QUITE STRONG.

SO RETIRING DOESN'T MEAN GOING OUT OF BUSINESS. I FEEL DIFFERENT AND NO MATTER WHAT WILL BE ALWAYS RELATED TO THE CALSSIC MINIS FOR MANY MORE YEARS.

SO MINI COOPERS OF MIAMI / GB CAR PARTS WILL BE UNDER A NEW NAME "CLASSIC MINI COOPERS OF MIAMI".
HOW ABOUT THAT AH!
STILL ALIVE AND KICKING...

Well that’s good and bad news, just too many dealers in the classic mini game going out of business or retiring as in Sergio’s case

But ll had a dream........Malcolm Ward  Stepped up and bought the business, great choice l must say

That would mean the classic mini business in Florida would be controlled by the 3 amigos, Mike Guido, Dion Jardine and Malcom, scary to say the least

Forget it, l just woke up. LOL

Mini Coopers of Miami / gbcarparts.com retiring

Hello my friends, colleagues, and Classic Mini enthusiasts,

Over the years I have been able to meet many of you, both in person or digitally, to share in the great passion we have for Classic Minis (and classic cars in general). It has truly been great to experience so many good times at classic Mini gatherings and events, rallies, and in a garage getting under the hood, I could not be more grateful for all these memories.

Now that I recently turned 70 years old, I am writing to all of you to let you know that I will be retiring from my Mini Coopers of Miami and GB Car Parts businesses at the end of the year to enjoy life with my family and friends – and of course, with my classic Mini.

I have had several serious offers for my parts & Mini Cooper businesses over the years, but always held off, but now I am finally set to move on.

As I am planning on retiring from my business, I will also be moving on from all my inventory or parts, cars, equipment, my garage/warehouse, and everything else right down to the forklift.

If you are interested in the inventory, please do not hesitate to reach out to me, and I will be happy to go through anything and everything in detail, and I am willing to negotiate an aggressive price for all parts of the lot.

Below are just some of the parts involved in the offer, and I am willing to move on from all of them:

. Hundreds and thousands of new and used Mini Cooper car parts. From more ‘common’ new parts to hard to find used parts are included in this inventory, for the simple fix or the hard to find part that is a finishing touch for a restoration.
· Several complete 1000cc engines, ready to go with the transmissions in them.
· Transmissions, engine blocks, engine components and more.
· Brake drums, calipers, pads and more.
· Doors (and components), Hoods, trunk lids, front windshield, rear window, fixed side windows, door windows.
· Lots and lots of wheels, steering parts, suspension parts, interiors and more.
· Tons of new parts such as drive train, suspension parts, engine parts, accessories, chrome parts, glass.

Below is a listing of what could be included in a complete package for sale, and all is negotiable:
· All car parts! These are classified and sorted by description or part number within a well organized inventory. In other words, this is not a junkyard where parts are laying around at random, all is catalogued and organized from condition to origin etc.
· Books, parts catalogs, and mechanical literature related to Mini Coopers.
· All warehouse and storage racks at our warehouse, as well as all stands/bins where the parts are kept and sorted.
· One Caterpillar Forklift (1980), fully maintained, very well kept, and runs perfectly. Runs on propane gas.
· Master tow dolly, complete, fully functioning, and ready to roll. No accidents on it
· Huge collection of Mini Cooper die cast models, all different sizes and scales, including some custom made by myself.
. Transfer of lease to 3000 ft Warehouse with 4 offices, including all furniture and equipment in Miami, FL. (details available if interested)

I am available to discuss any of these items in as much detail as necessary, and I assure you this is all an amazing collection for a classic Mini Cooper enthusiast.

Thank you all for your support and friendship over the years, and thank you all for all the amazing memories!
