Got it, with help from Chuck.  It is pretty good.

How about THX 1138 as a literary allusion..

Not really Mini related ... but entirely appropriate for a Mini driver ;)

Cheers, Ian

Clever. :)  I saw some good ones on the thread! Glad I'm not the only one who likes a personalized plate.

Not on a mini but on a 'tie-dyed' VW bug that was owned by a Grateful Dead fan; Doobie 1.  Spotted in the mountains of California on our way to Sonoma for the Mini Challenge race a couple of years ago.

Leyland AUS used "MOKIN IS NOT A WEALTH HAZARD"  (wordplay on an old anti smoking ad) as an advertising slogan back in the day...  Someone might have a copy of the sticker they used..

On my classic is "MINIAC" (see my profile pic...it's small, but you can make it out.  I left the UK plate on, underneath)
I don't remember now whether I got the idea from someone here or from the plate that came on my old yellow Mini I got out of Ontario, which had the same Ontario plate (MINIAC

My 2009 Bini's plate is "VE9AA" - which is for those that don't know, my Amateur Radio call sign....also my user name here. ;-)

My Wife's 2012 Bini says "LILRIPR" (Little Ripper) which I copied from someones classic plate here......I don't recall who now....in her rear window we have small white stick on letters that say "OMG wheeeeee"  She gets a lot of laughs over that.

Nice to see you Latka !
