No expert here, just a guy who lives in an area that gets regular crappy weather over the winter, including snow, freezing rain, sleet, etc. I own a 2014 Paceman, essentially a coupe version of the Countryman. My car is AWD. I've had very good experience with the Continental Conti Extreme Contact All Season tires. They get me through the winter securely while performing OK in the nice weather as well. Not too noisy, and decent tread wear. Also not very expensive. Just my .02 for your consideration.

Hello experts!! My name is Shelby and I am looking for recommendations on tires for my 2014 Mini Countryman S AWD.
Here's my dilemma/story. I owned a 2003 coop s for 5 years that I absolutely loved. I live in Eastern Washington state where we get a fair amount of snow. I upgraded to the AWD to avoid having to put on snow tires once again this winter. (I know awd is not a solve all problems with the snow but I will only be in WA one more winter and wont be driving that much in the snow, so I need something that will get me by).

Recently I hit a rock causing me to need a new set of tires. The tires I currently have are run flats.

So here's what I need:
Should I put runflats on again? or should I carry a spare? I am a 23 year old female who thankfully had the runflats on when I accidentally hit a rock, and it was nasty outside; so I was thankful I didn't have to get out change a tire. I honestly didn't know the difference between the "ride" of the tire, and I'm fairly sure I won't notice with a new set of tires.

I also need recommendations for some good all seasons. I want to have the new tires siped to help with the traction. Any reccommendations? A decent tire that won't break the bank? Please let me know your thoughts. I welcome the good bad and ugly. Thanks
