As it did not come from the factory with twin tanks it would depend on how they were fitted.
The factory fitted ones were just connected by a balance pipe so when you fill up one tank the other one fills up at the same time but not as quickly as the balance pipe is not comparable in size to the gas pump hose.

Hi I’m new here...
I just picked up this 1969 Cooper Mkll. It’s been fully converted to S specs and more. Engine is 1275 overbored 0.040 with aluminum head, cam, 45 DCOE, forged pistons, S conrods , billet crank, etc. Suspension is coil overs on all 4 corners.
It’ll be mostly used for autocross, track days, time trials.
I do have a quick question. Are the dual tanks automatically cross connected or are they switched some how
