Yes, I do understand its the entire assembly, but my question was do the repair with any available assembly or use the factory assembly due to the compatibility of the sensors

most modern cars have a front wheel bearing assembly. That's the easy way to do it.

Hey all;
Modified R53 2004 Cooper S
New to me (as you can see, I am having a few issues with it already) Cooper S that has a bad right front wheel bearing. The shop that inspected it suggested that I get a factory hub and bearing assembly as while a bit more money, the sensors work better at connecting with the ecu....
Can anyone shed some light on this?
