I think you should take it in someplace who has experience with working on MINI Coopers. Typically, estimate for repairs are free. Make your decision from there.

Thanks for the reply been doing more research and i think my thermostat is stuck close i thought that the water pump and the alternator wouldn’t turn on but they do. Recently i replace a hose and when i did some coolant spill out made the mistake to run the car with low coolant then i put some coolant and bleed it. But everytime i would drive my car the fan would always turn in no matter if i just turn on the car then they stop turning on for some reason the ac does t cool anymore so im thinking it might be over heating maybe the water pump might be bad but I’m going with the thermostat housing might be shut close and it won’t open... what do you think?

Both the water pump and the alternator are turned by the belt (whether it be classic or new MINI). On the 2002 and newer MINI, there have been times when the harmonic balancer pulley fails and the outer ring that the belt sits on splits away from the inner ring that is turned by the crankshaft. This is actually a somewhat common occurrence for certain year MINIs.

That is something to check: with the engine running, is the crankshaft pulley's outer ring rotating / is the belt moving at the crank pulley?

Welcome to the forum.  Please include more information about your car and perhaps add your location to your profile.  Also, when making a post you will notice you can select an icon (blue classic Mini for the older cars, red modern MINI for the newer cars).  Select one of those when making a post so people will know which car you are dealing with.  The classic Mini was in production for almost 40 years and even the new MINI has now been around for about 20 years.

You asked/said "alternator or water pump won’t turn on  ... Could it be the thermostat ? ".  That isn't clear.  Do you mean neither is working, or that you don't know which is not working?

Traditional thermostats are mechanical devices that act like a switch allowing or blocking coolant flow based on the coolant temperature.  They don't directly have any interaction with the alternator (which makes electricity) or the water pump (which moves coolant around all of the cooling system).  Traditionally the alternator and water pump are belt driven.  Your car's fan belt may be loose or missing.  However, BMW may have done something very different on the new MINI (electric water pump?) ... I don't know.

Please give a bit more information about your car and what it appears to be doing wrong.
