been used for the Mini On The Dragon week each year. It is dropped off at my shop each fall for upgrades and service.
The car has received all new fully adjustable suspension , alloy huds, drive flanges 8.4 disc drilled and grooved with KAD
four piston calipers. KAD front and rear adjustable sway bars. Super mini fins rear.

The power unit is a MPI converted to SPI built with Nick Swift's help to extract as much HP as possible from the injection.
The tranny is a ultra wide ratio four synchro in a DAM 5626 case. Using a 2.76 CWP and two O/D drop gears ratio is 2.56.
70 mph at 3000 rpm and 96 at 4000. GPS has recorded speeds over 100 mph.

This year we have installed a complete new custom interior, carpet, head liner and all glass rubber and door seals. Also
installed a new in tank fuel pump and a fuel filter. Under the bonnet got new water pump, hoses, super two core rad, alt.
plug wires and plugs.

This was to be owners last Dragon before retiring and it was canceled. Comes complete with a set of 13s, a set of street
12s and newly mounted and yet to run 12 inch track tires. Just for kicks it has electric rear opening quarter windows. If
it would be on a mini lovers wish list it's on this car tested adjusted and working as you would expect.

Asking price is reasonable considering, I forgot to mention we had the complete gear set including drops and cwp REM
polished to reduce FWD whine. Also has a Quaife posi. I currently have someone looking at the car. He knows if his wife
sees it he will have to buy it. She loves their current mini but it is to loud at highway speed and hot in summer.
I can text you pictures if interested. Steve (CTR)

Thanks for the pics, I replied to your text.

Interested in finding my old '72 Cooper S MkIII Resto mod that I sold to Adam in SoCal.  Anyone seen this car?  BRG, white roof, Burr walnut 9 clock dash, built motor and 5 speed.  Custom finished to my specs by Mike Waterjohns, in the UK.  I don't come on here much, but if you know where this car is located, ping me at bill(at)mitchel(dot)net.  Thanks!!  And truth is stranger than fiction!  One of my first UK imports years ago, was a Mk1 Cooper S Rallye Replica.  Sold it to Wayne Carini, long before he was a famous TV star, on Chasing Classic Cars.  Stumbled over the exact same car many years later in a driveway on Sullivans Island, SC, just a few doors away from our son-in-laws family beach house.  Would love to find DAEK, and possibly reacquire it someday.  Would have kept that car forever, but kids college bills, and a recession nixed that plan.  The one and only time I ever did Solo 1 laps was at Mini Meet, East Meets West, near Chicago at Blackwawk Raceway, and we were 3rd fastest in our class.....
