Interesting pricing!

I happen to have the 333 gearbox from Steve McQueen's actual mini. Maybe it wasn't such a bad investment to buy it after all!

Looking in Classic Mini Parts Wanted & For Sale on Facebook yesterday I noticed Carlos Pinto is advertising two 22G333 transmissions for 4000 Euros (around $4360 US).  I do not know if that is each or for the pair - just point out they are out there,

I'm checking Parnell's book now. Says change was April 66 at engine 41234. Mine is 41241. I'm in the market for a 333 Q also.

Cool

So what are you correctly restoring? What diff are you wanting? What output shafts? what final drive? gear ratios etc.

I have a 2006 mini cooper s with 6 speed automatic transmission that I am doing a transmission swat to a 6 speed manual transmission. there is information I found that I would need to swap out my ometv? chatroulette? chat avenue? oil filter housing to one with oil cooler and change out the coolant hoses. the automatic transmission had a transmission fluid cooler on it to moderate the temp. can anyone tell me why I would need to swap out oil filter housing if it already worked on the engine with out the oil cooler? I capped of the existing coolant hoses that went to the automatic transmission cooler. any help would be very helpful. thanks
