My personal classic is a 85 1000E. It came with a single line master and drum brakes with the pedal box like in your
hand. First I converted to 7.5 disc, with smaller rear cylinders and retained the single line system. It took quite
awhile for me to locate a torque tube assembly. The brake booster was a real improvement and well worth the cost
and time to install. My contact info is in my profile, once I have your cell # I can send pictures. It has taken me
several years to locate and buy anotherkit. I just got it last week and I have no current project for it. Let's talk.

Dear Willie_B,

Thank you for the information.
Is that a pedal kit for left hand drive with torque brake tube?
If so could you kindly tell me where I can get it?
Thank you and stay safe and healthy!

Dear CooperTune,

Awesome! Thank you for the information.
Also, I updated my profile. I am in US.^^
OK, So you said that the tube in the photo is for a brake torque tube.
Yes, this body only has brake pedal there and the bracket has no place to add clutch pedal.
The pedal kit in my photo does seems no way to attach to the brake torque tube.
So, you are familiar with torque tube, can you tell me where I can get LHD(Left Hand Drive) brake clutch pedal set for the body come with torque tube set up?
If you have for sale would you let me know how much cost me? You can PM to me as well if you would like to.

One more advise from you will be great as well.
Can I take this brake torque tube off and install old brake and clutch pedal kit(the one I have) without any modification?

Thank you bunch for your super advise^^
Please stay safe and healthy!

BTW FYI your 1300 motor is only 1275 cc. Rover was lazy and rounded up 1275 to 1300.

As is so often the case you have not filled in your profile. No idea where you are located.
I can't be sure from the pictures but it looks like you have a torque tube auto brake assembly.
Am I correct in thinking that only has the brake pedal? You also show a earlier style pedal
assembly with clutch and brake pedal. Being a big fan of LHD I have installed a torque tube
assembly in my car and have picked up another for a spare. Both of mine are std shift with a
clutch pedal. Not having seen a auto torque brake assembly I'm not sure if you need a correct
clutch pedal that can be installed in place of a spacer tube as seen with  RHD assemblies? I
have done several auto to std conversions. They were all RHD so I have yet to run into a auto
torque pedal assembly.

I have recently realized that pedals and assemblies are no longer available new. So I'm buying
up a few sets just in case. Steve (CTR)

Happy days!

I am trying to convert left hand driver MKIII body with automatic to a  manual transmission with 1300cc motor.
I found that pedal kit I have does not seems to be match with the body.

Is anyone can advise me what shall I do?

Many thanks and stay safe and healthy!
