As a child I used to do judo at Dowty's in Churchdown/Staverton and this was an entertaining half hour trawling through the archive.
Edit: https://www.dowtyheritage.org.uk/content/category/dowty-group/ultra-electronics I worked for Ultra in 1998 building aircraft dimmer switches using Dowty marked drawings.

What was the name of the fan that had spring loaded arms and when you reved it, it flattened out. Thanks I think they were four blades to the fan. Was it a downty fan?? If anyone has one for sale I’d love to put it on my car again.
