I have a ‘76 with a Weathermaster version which appears very similar. It uses 4 nylon guide blocks. I fabricated replacements from material I purchased out the remnants box at Applied Plastics on 26th Ave south of Holgate in Portland
Also found them available at //www.littleportboathaven.co.uk but they no longer appear on their website. Weren’t cheap and not of terrific quality.
I’m my case driving the car with the latch in the unlatched position with the roof open or closed is when to rattles becomes most annoying.
Good Luck & Happy New Year!!

Yes - there appear to be 10 guides. See here:

Does the manual fold-back Webasto sunroof have some kind of plastic or nylon tips on the blades or rods that ride in the channels? With the roof closed, I have a pronounced rattle on a rough surface. I'm wondering if those imagined "tips" are missing and it's metal-to-metal on the channel. Anyone have experience with the parts of the Webasto mechanism? If it matters, it's installed on a '79 MkIV.
