Sorry, no photo management software recommendations from me.  My wife is the family photographer.  She manually organizes the photographs into folders but it sure would be nice to have some form of database so you could search for photos by keyword.

A free program I do recommend is Libre Office which is a freeware office program.  It can read and write the various Microsoft file formats (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Draw, and Math).

It looks like a good product... I'm going to give it a try.
On a parallel vein, any suggestions for freeware/shareware product for sorting and managing photos? I have been using Picasa 3 for years but it is no longer available. My wife needs something for her new Windows 10 laptop. Thanks

We bought our first digital camera about 20 years ago.  At first we used software to move the pictures to our laptop.  Later we used a USB memory card reader to transfer the pics to our laptop after removing the memory from the camera.  Now our cameras use SD memory and our laptops have a built-in SD card readers.  We simply remove the memory from the camera and plug it directly into the laptop to access the files using Explorer.  Regardless, once the file is on your laptop a simple, free program like IrfanView can be used to resize the image.  If all you want to do is resize and crop the image... IrfanView is a great free solution.

or...post it to a photo hosting site.  After you upload it,  they give you options like, ohhhhh smaller resized versions for email, or resized for message board postings, or whatever.  Take a look at the two I posted above, the direct link is 1067 x 800, the inserted pic is smaller.   The hosting site did this for me,  I did not have to twiddle bits.

My old Olympus digital SLR takes decent pics and I always resize the photos to 8" x 6" x 96dpi.  This seems to be okay for emails and posts.  Unfortunately Olympus never made a Windows 7 or 10 driver so I have to find an old Win XP pc to upload pics from the camera.  I appreciate the convenience of phone cameras but so far have not been impressed with the image quality of my (cheap) phone's camera

All you need to do is resize them to less than 2 MB, store on your computer, then drag and drop to the big green symbol on the top left. I find using my smartphone for this website near impossible. Use a larger device so things display better

This surely is a great question and some suggest put om E bay or Bring a trailer and find out. I cant help but wondrer
where the value lies. True Cooper S cars seem to be in demand. The more stuff the better and dates count. Casting
numbers and correct period mods? Mk1s should be winners. Correct wheels even if they would have been the first
thing you replaced. 64s seem strong when done up. If the Brits ever get their money strong again they will be the next
market they sent all theirs to Japan. Keep us informed. Steve (CTR)

"It's the real deal"  and did the heritage certificate show a 1275'S engine?  So you have an incomplete project that has most of the parts.  Having just sold two Cooper'S 1275 blocks recently and a 1275's project ( a 1966 Austin Cooper 'S ) just a bare 1275's block will go for over $700.00 and if you want things like the AEG163 head that should be there expect to pay as they are getting harder to find.  Check the shipping/customs regulations - can you ship to the UK - or is the buyer arranging all that?  The old saying about a "a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush" applies.  I had heard that a Cooper 'S project in the UK would bring much more than 10K you mentioned.  But then I haven't checked shipping prices that way recently - say 2-3K and then import duties/taxes/.  I opted for a sale in the US - the cash in hand, a buyer/seller with buyer looking at the project and a deal made.

What Doug said. (actually, if it was mine and someone offered me even 1/2 that, I'd take it.)

The following is strictly my opinion and not based on any market research.

Since the car does not have the original engine or gearbox and will require several new panels... take the $10k offer.
