Don't know why you're fussing...
You're faking it anyway ...and the real ones were anywhere from 2 to 6 months from the actual build date....
Cheers, Ian

All I found was an 8 68 from a DR3A (self parking) and a DR2 10 59. The 66 dated one I had went with the '66 Austin Cooper 'S project I sold in April.

Thank you for replying. I have found a 2 -66, but still holding out for an April or March. Its winter here , and all the motors are in storage. I will get a list. Is there a date code you need?

Jim

Having so many wiper motors, what covers are you offering in trade? Steve (CTR)

Apply for membership on the Mk1-Forum (link below) and post that you want a '66 wiper motor cover. Be sure to ask for one stamped for the month of your car's manufacture date or earlier (i.e. If your car was built in June'66, you want a June or earlier 1966 cover). The link below is to the Mk1 website.

I have boxes of wiper motors. I need a '66 early date coded alloy cover. Not the motor. Pre May 1966.

I may have one but it is in storage in Lilburn, Georgia and I'm in Utah presently. Our host does sell them new only $374.95 plus a $100.00 core charge plus shipping and you may need additional parts. Just as Steve is saying if I'm buying a "genuine" '66 Cooper 'S the wiper motor should be made before the car came off of the assembly line as well as the dated glass and other parts that had a date stamp - trunk lock assembly.

Seems to have been here for a long time since 17 and has a blocked profile and only one post asking for the wiper motor lid with the correct date. Dated parts and it seems all mini parts are, now are becoming a big deal. Maybe I can sell all this glass I have. Steve (CTR)
