Well, schedule has changed slightly. Buyer informed us that the car needs to arrive in California sometime after Dec 12th, so Ihave another month to find something coming back east for my empty trailer. Yeah, I'd bring the weird Marina back, but shipping would be more than the cost of the car. Besides that, like Malcolm said, who'd want the thing? They couldn't even sell that thing in England while I was there. FUGLY!

On the subject of Marina's.

I was looking for an SU carb to do a budget conversion on a single Stromberg equipped MGB so i called Joe Curto, he informed it was the same as a Marina carb but that he has not had one of those carbs in stock for years.
As he could not help me he gave me the number of a guy in Arkansas who restores Marina's, i said restores Marina's seriously, why would he nobody wanted them when they were new ?
Long story short he had the parts i needed and i was able to convert the MGB to run reliably with the SU.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Someone surely needs a rust free project Morris dropped off on your way back east!

That is so nice of you to ask!  I do not have anything that needs to go west, but if you happen to find a three clock binnacle with Nippon Seiki gauges in MPH and a working tachometer (for a reasonable price), I will gladly help you find it a new home.

Hope you have a great trip!

Sometime between now and Thanksgiving I will be taking a Mini to the left coast. As of now it looks like I will have an empty trailer for the return trip. If anyone has something along the way that needs transport, please let me know. Cars or whatever. Also, even though my trailer is full on the trip West, I still have room inside the van for other items.
