Yes, this entire month has sucked. Trish and I have been playing musical hospital all month long. She was in the hospital for 3 days then released. I immediately got sick and spent a week in the hospital. After I got out she went in again, this time witb pneumonia. Another week for her, then out. Once again I got worse and ended up in the ICU. Three days there and now I'm still in the hospital but not as sick as I was. Still not a clue as to when I will get out of here. Hoping for a huge dam break and I can get out of here.

Sorry to hear that Hugh. I'll say a prayer for you and your doctors. Concentrate on getting well and getting out of there. All the best. Jim

Sorry that you both had to spend Christmas in hospital!
Get well and out of there really soon.

Well, I took a turn for the worse. I'm back in the hospital again and have been for a week. Spent 3 days in ICU but now in a private room. They are still trying to get me unstuck. Miserable!

I'm getting better. Still not 100% but at least I'm not in the hospital anymore with a tube down my throat. Colitis is not fun but luckily we got it before it got me. Didn't eat for a week and a half, and some would say I needed that. Eating good now and trying to regain my strength.

Well, because of spending a week in the hospital I wasn't able to make the California trip yet. Looks like I will be heading out sometime in January, but the person I'm taking the car to hasn't given me a schedule yet. He wants to make sure I have fully recuperated before heading across country. Anyway, that said, there's still time to put something on the empty trailer for my trip back.

San Diego! Well, that's PERFECT for picking up this fine gem and bringing it east for someone...

or maybe someone wants a fully caged Austin America that has no engine, but is otherwise ready-ish to race-ish.

Or maybe a pink princess bed... er... British Moke that comes with all of the original moke stuff (minus the seats... but maybe Hugh will sell the seats that came from it to you)

And of course, there's a 1275A+ for sale locally as well as another engineless street America

Hey, I'm less than 20 miles from downtown Denver. That's suburbia!

Now, I do have to admit the road is a pure sheet of ice right now - it's an adventure getting home. 4WD and snow tires needed...

Always uncertain. Probably not worth the risk.

My son is trying to get me to deliver a motorcycle to Denver, but that may or may not happen, as I won't attempt on the trip out with a car on my trailer. Bike would be inside my van. Still, Denver at this time of year is most certainly snow and I really don't like driving in snow if I don't have to. More than likely it will be straight out I-40 to Calif, up I-5 or 99 to Woodland then reverse route home. My son's friend may have to drive down to meet me along 40. Anyway, is there something you need to or from Calif? Still have an empty trailer on the return trip but plenty of room in the van going either way.
I might have a couple of engines in Chicago needing to come to Denver...Doesn't sound like it would fit great with your schedule, but noting just in case.
