You don't need to buy one. Many shops like meinekie muffler will swap the shocks for you. Of course you'll have to pay them.

I should mention that you will need a spring compressor to dis-assemble the front struts - safely.

edit: this assumes you are doing the installation yourself.

A utility knife. Before you begin, Score the camber bolt to the housing. This way you can put you caber back to original settings without paying for an alignment.

The KONI Special Active shocks for the MINI are designed to work with stock springs so you shouldn't need anything else.

I bought  KONI special active units for F & R of my 2014 F56 Base model 2-door; new struts DO NOT have springs. Do I need ANY other single-use parts to install my new shocks/struts, especially to mount the original springs over the new struts??? Many Thanks
