Just to the nearest pancake. The amount of vapor from the crankcase is insignificant even at idle when compared to the air going into the carb. It won't even affect carb balance. About the only thing you'l notice is tat filter getting dirty a little sooner.

Thanxs- will punch a hole in the pancake and route a tube there. Need it to feed it to both pancakes to keep it even or just pick the easiest one? Do the same with the crankcase one?
Thought Mini's were supposed to spread oil?

You won't have to worry about rust with the breathers open because there'll be a spray of oil covering the engine and engine bay.

What kind of filter(s) do you have on the 2x1.25" carbs? Oval dual carb air cleaner or pancakes/cones?
Add a nipple to the backing plate and connect the top and connect the rocker breather tube to it with a piece of hose. If any fumes exit the rocker cover, they will be drawn into the engine and burned. Air cleaner also prevents dirt, bugs etc from entering the rocker cover. Basically what an original 850 setup did.

Do I care?  '67 850.  Valve cover has a tube/ pipe that comes out the top and does a 90.  Backside of the engine crankcase has a slightly larger pipe that 90's down out of the crankcase.  Neither has anything attached. Valve cover one points aft and there isn't room for one of those little breathers between it and the carbs (2x 1.25) -so plug them, attach some screening, some aftermarket piece I just don't see, or just be glad it is running fine and ignore them.
Thanks
Kim
