Despite its age, the original request for information was left unanswered... until now. Somebody finally got an answer to his question. Sometimes it takes a long time to find information.

Are you aware you just responded to a 2yr old thread to a person who has posted exactly twice to this board?

i would like to know the differences between this gold seal unit (BHM1209E) and original 12h719 or 832.
this engine actually is fitted in an innocenti 1300 export but i am not sure that the head is the correct one.
- As i can see other 2 gold units were avaible:
38G559E 1275cc - Gold Seal unit with Simplex cam drive gears for engine numbers prefixed
12H719 and 12H832, for 1300GT (ADO16) and Innocenti 1300, 11-stud
cylinder head
GSE1109E 1275cc - Gold Seal unit for 1300GT (ADO16) and Innocenti 1300, 11-stud cylinder
head
And for theese units it is specified that they have an 11 stud head (like the 12h719 or 832).
But in my case :
BHM1209E 1275cc - Gold Seal unit, replaced all Innocenti 1300 engines from engine numbers
prefixed 12H610, 12H635 and 12H832
it is not specified if this refurbished engine have a "classic" 9 or 11 stud head.
The innocenti i was talking about, fits a BHM1209E but the head is only 9 stud, so .. is it wrong?
On the head is stamped "10A3", anyone knows something about that?
Thank's to everyone and sorry for my bad english
