 2006 Mini Cooper water damaged connector help

If there are any multiplexing wires, or buss wires, generally you cannot splice them, their resrstence has to be just right to work. Pretty sure you have to use a correct factory harness with no splicing to have a chance of fixing you flood car. What was it that Lerch used to say on the Adams family?
