It was our pleasure, great to see you also. Sad that it took so long to have this meet.I have wanted to do this for years.Back then ,I wanted a picture of the three Don's .three cars and twelve carbs. Then Don D***son sold the 7 port S. Now he has a supercharged 1380. Some big horsepower there today. Cheers

I have just returned from my third show. Again more people are loving the mini. Seems that many people who go to car shows are looking for something different. Many guys shook my hand and thanked me for showing up with something they have never seen before. Also two times this week while out for a drive, I have run into a exotic car run. So this time I put my foot into it. Sure the R8 passed me, but he had to work at it.These guys rent these cars and tear around near my home. I should think the owner of these cars has heard about the mini. Having a ball.I sold my 1917 soda pop factory home last week ,so all my mini friends are coming for one last garden party. Cheers

Bluebox has been sitting in a motorcycle race shop for a long time, the owner of Brooklin cycle racing Rob Egan was willing to correct some of the tuning problems that I have encountered. The header built by S/C was my second one,the first one didn't fit at all. We heated the Stainless tubes and bent it ,to fit. It never really fit, I had been told by S/C to give it my best. When time came to replace the first ill fitting one they charged me full price for a new one. It fit better ,but did not seal at the head. Well Rob took it all apart and remade it to work. The carbs needed to have the intake manifolds shortened , with extra return springs and a beautiful arm to hold the carbs solidly in place. Now I have room to fit a airbox, airfilter.  So I have been out ripping around . It is very fast now and will only get better with the airbox fitted. I gave it a wash and went to a car show Saturday morning. The mini was as always well received. Iam having a blast. Cheers
