Looks like it was made in two halves and stuck together with a trim piece all the way around. I worked in a boat factory when I was a teenager and we made pedal boats exactly the same way.

I looked it up and yes there was a three wheel model and then later a four wheel model.

Doesn't look like a three wheeler.  Maybe a narrow rear axle, but the tire doesn't look like it's in the middle of the car.

Plethora gets the prize ... It's a 1957 Victoria (hence the post around Victoria Day). 250cc one cylinder motorcycle engine. The Victoria Motorcycle Company (Germany) decided to try the micro-car market and built less than 800 of them in '57 and '58. The transmission has push-buttons on the dash for forward/neutral/reverse, then a lever and clutch for 2nd, 3rd and 4th The one pictured is not mine (nor is it the one in the link below). It showed up at a local Cars and Coffee. The owner ALSO has a 60's Mini.

The car appears to be a Brutsch,  Spatz (sparrow) or Victoria.  200 or 250cc.  Their one seat cars are interesting as well, a handle on the back of the tiny 3 wheeler is used to lift the car and turn it around, i.e. Mopetta.

The expert who can name this vehicle will reveal why it is appropriate to post it this week ...
