I'm now facing an ongoing clash too - having become "the voice of the paddock" at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, I'm hoping that it doesn't clash with MMEMW next year...

OR ... you can find Turbo Dave over on the Restoration Mini site. He started a thread under the "Maintenance and Modifications" section titled "spacers need to increase oil pressure". Once there, you can PM him.

Hey Does anyone have a contact email for turbo Dave? I left the car show without being able to catch him for an email. I wanted to pick his brain about his turbo set up. I’m the gentleman who was at the show with the non turbo verson

Great Mini Meet this year.  Hotel was great, events were great, people were great.  Nice to see old friends again and looking forward to next year already .  Thank you to Lorine and Derick and their local club for putting us up and putting up with us.

backstay.. who needs AC?? I still run every day at noon.( 45 years now with 19.5 year STREAK) and it is 100F almost here every day.. you just have to climate-tize.. and cut up your house AC to 78-80F. and NEVER cut it on in your car.. I NEVER use the AC even in my Bentley Mulsanne.. deal with it.. later bc

Great event! Hats off to the organizers, Lorine and Derick Karabec, for a very well planned and executed Mini Meet. Their second in five years. While the two of them are enthusiastic owners of multiple Minis, both classic and new, kudos must also go out to the many volunteers from their local club, Brits of the Hudson LTD. This event was quite unique, in that much of the behind the scenes as well as on-site support came from the members of this non-Mini exclusive British sports car club. To the countless others who chipped in when and where they were needed, thank you!
