Missed qualifying (65-degree sunny and breezy morning was ripe for a nice 60-mile morning drive in the Mini accompanied by 3 other LBC's), but looking at the lineup, it's nice to see a mixed bag up front. We'll see how wheel-to-wheel competition changes the complexity of the track... SE7EN

I watched the Qualis this morning, too! Awesome! The combination of all those factors, on a new track that none of the pilots has driven on before, will make this a very interesting race to watch. Vittel is incredible. I saw his first F1 race at Indy, where he amazed all. Go BMW, Kubica and Heidfield! I watched that this morning. I think that course looks dangerous! It seems slippery when anyone goes just a bit off line and the whole course is lined with cement walls. But, I'll be watching the race on Sunday. Critics are like eunuchs in a harem; they know how it's done, they've seen it done every day, but they're unable to do it themselves. People who live in glass libraries shouldn't throw tomes.

Any of you folks watch the pratice sessions this morning? What a nice street circuit it looks to be. 24 turns with lap times now under 1:40. From the in-car cameras show some very fast combinations that look like a thrill to drive. It's nice watching the drivers learn a new circuit. Looking forward to qualifying tomorrow. Catch it if you can! SE7EN
