    All later model Minis have 'verto clutches'. The are most easily identified by the position of the clutch slave cylinders. The verto cylinders is mounted at an angle pointing towards the ground (rather than the early version that pointed horizontally towards the inner fender). When you clutch pedal begins to feel soft or simply does not disengage the clutch it could be fixed by a simple slave cylinder rebuild kit. Includes the rubber pieces inside the cylinder; easy to install!
