    The 1098cc engine uses a much longer intake valve. (Look for head casting nos. 12g295 and 12g206) 1.15" diameter with the wide groove for use with early keepers. Yes, you may be able to use your old ones, but some of us just like to use new parts! 1.15" Diameter Intake valves, suitable as oversize on 998cc heads
