Mini Cooper Parts and Acessories - Mini Mania

This is a rare opportunity to own a great little mini classic. This car has been in the family for about 4-5 years. My Mother doesn't drive it any more, it is very quick and very noisy. I got it for her about 5 years ago. It has many upgrades, not really suitable for a lady of her age, she says she can not drive it anymore, because she gets stopped every time. It is a very clean car with no rust. It has many engine mods all the go fast bits. All this was done about 6 years ago (6000 miles), to the tune of about $5900. Includes the following.

1380 fast road cam, EN40B crank, 1.5:1 rockers, belt drive, lightened clutch, oil cooler, ported head, Large inlet and exhaust valves, Facet electric fuel pump, 6" alloy inlet manifold, Webber 45 DOCE double barrel carb, large K&N air filter, Ashley competition single box on exhaust.

The body was done several years before this and has the following. I have added pics of a couple of small cracks in the paint and one door ding, these have not got any worse in the last 4 years.

Fully deseamed shell, frenched front turn signal lenses, custom grille, fully smothed trunk lid with internal relese, frenched in rear lights, custom dash with gauges for speed, revs oil temp, oil pressure, vacuum, charge and water temp. The car has uprated disc brakes, compomotive 5 spoke alloy rims with 13 inch tires. Remember cheap classic insurance with Grundy $20,000 value is about $400, it may be cheaper for you.

The car stands out like a sore thumb the wheel arches are a fantastic work of art, paint is in overall very good condition, looks great with the top up or down. Car has 13" alloy wheels, It has been taken to a few shows and gets a lot of attention. The carpet is in good condition, and i also have a brand new one that is color coded to the car, it has never been installed.

Now for the bad bits.   Due to the large carb and highly tuned engine it has a rough idle, but goes like a bat out of hell above 2500 rpm. It has intermittent fault on the indicators, i think it is a bad ground wire, i will try to sort it out on the weekend.   The convertible top is frayed in a couple of places, it is called double duck, i  think it is from the 80's. It still keeps the water out and is the higher quality double skinned type normally found on B.M.W. It has not got any worse in the years we have owned it and still works and looks good.

Due to the highly tuned engine and the webber, and big bore exhaust it is noisy on the intake and exhaust, when you get on it it sounds like a race car.

Over all i would say the car is in better shape than 95% of  mini's I have seen with many unique features. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
