Remember that great "flame" paintjob posted here awhile back? Well, Scooter Welch has made a great deal of progress on his Cooper since last summer, and was kind enough to send some photos and the following comments:

"My children convinced me the car should have Flames. All of the credit for mechanical, paint and electrical goes to Ken Uzzell, in North Pole Alaska (A great Guy and Mini Enthusiast). Brian Port with NAPA put down the 50's-60's style Flames.

"The engine is for the most part stock and interior is "pending" along with the Minilites (I am thinking about powder coating them Cherry Red, but have not decided). Thanks to all the Mini Mania staff for your help and patience."
