INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MAGNETIC OIL FILSTRATION UNIT

    Mini Mania part number MAGDOG3

    Installation

    1. Confirm nipple is proper size by screwing it into the new filter and rocking gently.  If it is not properly aligned, contact us for a replacement.
    2. Remove the old oil filter ( be sure to dispose of the filter responsibly).
    3. Place MagDog on the stud.  Screw in the nipple, holding MagDog in place.  Make sure the nipple turns a few times by hand before tightening.
    4. Tighten nipple snuggly.  If you use the next key, be absolutely sure that you remove it when finished to prevent severe engine damage!
    5. Spin on the new oil filter and tighten it per manufacturer’s instructions.
    6. Run the engine and check for any leaks.

Maintenance 25,000 miles under normal driving conditions

<!--[if !supportLists]-->1.                 Be sure to check the MagDog nipple for tightness each time you change an oil filter.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->2.                 Open the shell by removing the three screws with the Allen wrench (provided)<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->3.                 Gently tap the unit to separate the shell halves and lift out one of the magnets.  As you lift, the rest will snap into a long line, properly polarized.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->4.                 Remove the first cap and wipe all exposed areas, using a shop or paper towel.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->5.                 Replace the cap; move the clean magnet to the bottom, then clean its bottom side.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->6.                 Continue cleaning the line of magnets, then wipe clean the surface areas of the shells.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->7.                 Return the magnets to the shell, making sure the caps alternate.  They should snap into place alongside the adjacent magnet, not repelled by it.<!--[endif]-->

    <!--[if !supportLists]-->8.                 Replace chamber and block O-rings.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->9.                 Insert the nipple to assure proper alignment and line up the screws.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->10.            Tighten the screws firmly, so there is some crush.  Do not use extreme force.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->11.            Reinstall the unit and new filter following installation instructions.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->12.            Start the engine and check for any leaks.<!--[endif]-->
