    STARTER SOLENOID W/PUSHBUTTON - MINI & MINI COOPER
     
    Most cars use a solenoid to switch the high current to activate the starter. This is normally only done from the ignition switch which also controls the voltage to the distributor, etc. The "pushbutton" solenoid also allows the starter to be activated from the engine compartment which can be very convenient. While this is a nice upgrade for many cars, it is also stock on many early models!
