OIL PRESSURE OR TEMPERATURE ADAPTER
The oil system in our engines is best understood when compared to the blood circulation in our body. It is extremely critical and thus we can always benefit from knowing what condition the system is in. Our Mini Mania developed adapter provides a port to allow you to set-up an auxiliary monitoring system. The pipe thread output will allow you to connect an oil pressure gauge or oil temperature gauge! Easy to install, it mounts between the spin-on oil filter housing and the engine block.
Monitoring oil temperature can be as important as monitoring pressure. High oil temp can warn you of friction (causing engine wear) or that you need a better oil cooler. Besides, extra gauges just plain look cool! Gauge BT2240-01C is used with sending unit SM-TT6811-01 and this adapter plate.
