    Oil pan hardware kit If you are the sort that will rebuild an engine, then you know that the oil pan is held on with 1/4" bolts. There's nothing special about these bolts other than the length, but the washers are special. This kit includes all the proper bolts with washers to do the job right.
    Just NUTS, BOLTS & WASHERS!
    But how special are they? The oblong washers are indeed very strange and let's face it, if you have removed the sump (oil pan) and are about to put it back-how much time do you want to waste looking for all those strange washers & nuts?
