    The '59D' distributor used in many cars from 1980 on have a set of points that are often called the 'blue points with pin'. (Caution- many current replacement points are no longer have a blue base). As it is not uncommon for distributors to be changed and upgraded over the years it is best to always look at your old points before ordering new ones. Be certain that the replacements match not only the color of the plastic cam follower but also the mounting pin arrangements.
