    The ignition coil in all Mini, Sprites and Minors, when stock, are all the same. The stock coil does a good job when all the rest of the systems are in good shape. But they do not last forever and if you still have an original then it is time to change. The coil is often subjected to the abuse of heat and too much heat will eventually cause the coil to start shorting out and reducing the voltage needed to fire the plugs! When in doubt- replace it!
