TUBE SHOCK CONVERSION KIT SPRIDGET FRONT
Front Tube Shock/A-Arm Conversion Kit for Spriget. While they've always been fun, Sprites and Midgets can hardly be described as good handling or riding! Perhaps the biggest reason is the archaic design of the lever arm shock absorber. On the Spridget, the arm of the shock is also the upper arm of the front suspension. This means that if it is time to change shocks, you have to disassemble the whole front suspension, and with reconditioned shocks costing as much as they do, it's a job you don't want to do often! Now, for just about the same amount of work, you can replace the stock shock with a stronger, fabricated upper arm. With the addition of a lower support bracket that also reinforces the lower arm, your car will now accept conventional, tubular shocks.
