This kit contains everything you need to rebuild both rear drum brakes on your Sprite or Midget, and unlike other kits ours also includes new drums. For all Sprites and Midgets that were equipped with front DRUM brakes and use the rear, dual piston 7/8" wheel cylinders. These are "Square nosed" Sprite MkII and Midget MkI's, from May 1962 through Sept. 1962 equipped with the first double piston wheel cylinders, the GWC1115. The first chassis #'s with this cylinder were HAN6 20792 & GAN1 13555. This rear brake set-up continued only for a few months until the introduction of factory front disc brakes in Oct 1962. From then on, all Sprites and Midgets used the GWC1102 wheel cylinders in the rear. Those rebuild kits are MMKT0529.
