I found a couple suppliers while at the Pamona Swap meet in CA. Some guys manufacture them from scratch with a few simple measurements. I'm also on the hunt for either an aluminum or painted steel one with wood slats. I'll see if I can find the card(s).

Mr. Bridger's roof racks in the UK like the one in pictures.

Also Pedro's racks in the US. I've heard different stories. He's out of business , he's doing well, he moved.

Roof racks can be problematic...28 holes in the steel on the '61 Woody.  Chas. P. who bought the Woody in New York responded this way when I asked if he installed the roof rack, "No and I wouldn't have."

The two piece rack (in pic) works well...can carry longer items than my Jeep.  Have had bundles of 8' fluorescent tubes, 3 x 8 cedar lattice panels, 8' dimensional lumber & a little drywall to come.

Yes thank you nkerr I noticed I couldn't get spitz photo up either.. The Mini mania seems to be out? My google searches didn't produce much either. I do like Mister Bridgers Vintage aroof Racks though..would really like one of his Monte Carlo Max versions but shipping would be a killer I think...I will keep plugging away and see if something comes up...

Spitz, your photo doesn't appear to be visible

DJstack, here are some links to some, from a quick google search:

The middle one might not have happened (call Don, our host, to find out ) , the 3rd one has astonishingly poor photos (way too dark).

There used to be some very classic racks for sale at our host but perhaps they've sold out of them?  Attached is a photo of mine (I put a Monte sign on it for fun).

I'll try to find a pic of a couple I had
Theres a number of them around here in CA as they were a dealer installed "option" on MKIII and maybe some MkIV cars.
They fit the contour of the MINI roof perfectly.....unfortunately, they required drilling

found, not a great picture of it....MINI on the left

ok I know this has probably been asked before and I apologize. But where can I purchase a classic looking roof rack for MK3 mini?
