I'm running Michelin 145's
No sticking out.....even with 1/2 " built in spacers on the rear

I wondered what they look like all semi gloss black. They appeal to me but I can't see me running 5 s with 165 s without flares. Our 1360 has to much grunt for 145 s even on 5 s. Kind of missed the boat on S off set 4.5 Mini lite knock offs. As in not real, not mounting type. Steve (CTR)

I do have some stock steelers and some pretty cool nos aftermarket wheel covers
I am also looking for a set of 883 for my van project... price has made it a challenge though

nope, i like the factory look or maybe a set of 4.5 LP883 rims

just my 2 cents, it is a beautiful car, just not with those wheels,

NOPE...those are 100+ wheels and beautiful.  I restored 14 of those wheels for use on our first 2 Minis.  Rare now.

1st Photo: wheels I restored in 1992/93 for my son's Mini build - still on the Mini 25 years later in Oregon!

2nd Photo: wheels on the Mini I restored (and later much modified) in Ottawa Canada's capital in 2000 enroute to MME in Magog
